RCI Points timeshare headache?
We own RCI points timeshare but find it very difficult to get the resorts we want at short notice?
We were advised to change from weeks to points so that we could get more holidays as points are more flexible but we struggle to get any holidays/Resorts that we would like to visit, in fact we think we would be better off just letting them lapse and to stop paying the maintenance fees does anyone have any advice on either using the points to our advantage or getting rid of the headache
You’re going to need to pay your maintenance fees. Timeshares have in the past have garnished wages and received default judgments from the courts to get owners to pay maintenance fees.
As for exchanges, you’ll get better choice if you can look out further into the future, but it’s not an ideal situation especially if your timeshare is not highly valued.
